Class
Action
This firm represents consumer class actions
in state and federal court. We certified one of the
largest classes in history, with millions of claimants.
Our reputation for resolve and perseverance has earned us
the ability to achieve beneficial results for our clients,
regardless of the transgressor's size or strength.
For example, we recently settled
multiple commercial class action cases that served to preserve
the right to keep personal financial information private,
and out of the hands of mass marketers. Our settlement of
the historic, nationwide class action Lamb v. Wells Fargo
was preliminarily approved by the court. A full copy of
the notice can be found at
www.lambvswellsfargo.com. We settled similar lawsuits against GE Capital
Consumer Card Company, Union Bank, and Cal Fed, also with very favorable results for
the class members. We also
represent over 5 million clients who are CitiBank customers.
In addition, we are co-litigating with other plaintiff
groups on similar actions against Bank of America and
Capital One. Plaintiffs in these lawsuits allege that financial
institutions disclosed their confidential information, including
account balances and purchasing data, to third-party marketers.
These alleged disclosures violate the right to privacy granted
by the California Constitution and other laws. For more information,
